Oman Building Code
Regulates building design and construction, including occupancy classification, fire and life safety, means of egress, accessibility, structural design, building materials, and administrative provisions.

The Oman Building Codes form the national regulatory framework for building design, construction, and building systems in the Sultanate of Oman. The codes were developed to establish minimum requirements for safety, health, resilience, accessibility, and building performance. The 2025 framework consists of six coordinated technical codes. Each code addresses a specific area of building design, building systems, or building performance. Together these codes support safe construction practices and consistent regulatory standards across the Sultanate
